Mr Khatami has officially announced his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election.

I am so happy of this event.  I am happy to see the twinkles of hope and cheer among my friends. I do not expect him to create a miracle, but I hope he can make a change. I know there are so many obstacles in the way of making the change, but there are so many of Iranians who are ready and willing to help.

Dear Sir, I hope you will win the election and become my president. I hope you can use the energies of all Iranians to build an Iran for all Iranians.
